Requirements

  • Willing and able to perform basic to intermediate skill knife work, such as trimming and removing bones from meat products
  • Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach continuously
  • Willing and able to lift up to 65 lbs (or up to 100 lbs in Loadout)
  • Willing and able to climb stairs/ladders
  • Willing and able to work in cold, damp, hot, or humid environments (specific temperatures: Harvest >90°F wet/humid/hot; Cut/Converting 35-45°F cold/damp; Loadout 25-45°F dry/cold)
  • Willing and able to work 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday
  • Able to provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S
  • Able to pass a urinalysis screening (post-offer health assessment)
  • Not a rehire (this location is not accepting rehires)

Responsibilities

  • Perform knife work such as trimming and removing bones from meat products (may work in any department of the pork processing facility)
  • In Harvest: Process offal products in wet, humid, hot environment
  • In Cut/Converting: Further process fresh pork products in cold, damp environment
  • In Loadout: Read order sheets, locate and retrieve boxes from two-story rack system, place on conveyor or stack onto pallets/arrange in trucks, ensure proper box orientation and label visibility (boxes 9-100 lbs)
