High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production / industrial environment or equivalent experience
Ability and willingness to lift, pull or push 40+ pounds
Ability and willingness to work first, second or third shift and scheduled workdays, including weekends
Ability to stand, stoop, bend, squat, and push
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Responsibilities

Understanding and using mechanical and/or digital measurement tools such as a tape measure, micrometer, indicator and caliper etc
Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
Performing mathematical calculations commonly used in a manufacturing environment
Proficiently and safely operate manufacturing equipment such as horizontal and vertical lathes, grinders, boring mills, key seaters, gear cutting equipment, etc. and /or tear down, diagnose, assemble, test, and repair products common to the industries where the business is active
Assembling/building crates to contain products
Loading products onto freight carrier vehicles
Assisting in the assembly cell pulling parts to maintain inventory levels
Locating material and expediting part shortages within the plant
Using small hand tools, operating material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, hoists, skids, pallet handlers, and hand trucks or lift heavy objects by hand within applicable weight limitations
