Requirements

  • Report to Area Maintenance Superintendent and/or Craft Manager
  • Ability to work Monday through Thursday 10-hour days and/or straight night shift rotation
  • Knowledge of maintenance workflow process for coordinating emergency break-in work
  • Familiarity with Corporate Refining maintenance standards
  • Understanding of proactive reliability-centered maintenance (RCM)
  • Ability to ensure compliance with RSP-140

Responsibilities

  • Arrange toolbox and lineup meetings, including relevant safety topics, and monitor compliance
  • Ensure crafts follow all PPE requirements by wearing and maintaining PPE correctly
  • Perform daily job visits to monitor craft performance, identify and remove barriers
  • Walk down next day’s scheduled work to understand craft, material requirements, and job scope
  • Obtain updates from craft, inspections, area team, etc., and ensure all documentation is completed, signed, and turned in
  • Acknowledge time in WorkForce daily
  • Attend daily update meetings and communicate progress
  • Verify materials for next day’s work have been received
  • Work with area team on Emergency or High Priority work requests and coordinate emergency break-in work
  • Review next week’s schedule to identify and request required rental equipment
  • Monitor crafts' CBTs and classroom training to ensure attendance
  • Monitor PMs to ensure jobs are scheduled and completed before due date
  • Lead maintenance work group of multiple crafts for safe and effective execution in environmentally compliant manner
  • Assist in setting schedules, monitor and appraise progress for productivity, work quality, and schedule adherence
  • Ensure team understands work scope and performance expectations; promote RCM focus
  • Assist with troubleshooting; ensure work orders are satisfactorily completed and closed out
  • Communicate daily activities related to manpower, accomplishments, and problem areas to management
  • Ensure assigned craft personnel are adequately trained; identify training needs and participate in training program development
  • Maintain visible field presence to promote safe working environment and adherence to safe work practices
  • Participate in audits and near-miss/incident investigations; follow up on safety issues until closure
  • Active member of safety committee
  • Coordinate with planning and scheduling to ensure job package appropriateness and material compliance with engineering standards
  • Identify and resolve delays preventing schedule attainment
  • Participate in maintenance cost control, challenging discretionary work
  • Participate as member of Maintenance leadership team; collaborate with foremen, planning, scheduling, and reliability teams to develop repair strategies
  • Maintain current, accurate, and complete records for assigned area
