Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess between 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with specialization in fund accounting, and a solid academic track record with at least a credit average from an Accounting or Finance Degree. They should have worked in a Big 4 accounting firm or another global business, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
As the Fund Accounting Associate, you will review quarterly capital calls and distributions, management fee and commitment fee files, and quarterly financial statements and investor reporting across each investment structure. You will also assist in the preparation of capital events, coordinate with auditors, and work with the Trustee of each entity as needed, while understanding fund and deal structures. Additionally, you will prepare cash movements, assist in managing the treasury function, prepare quarterly performance calculations, and handle ad-hoc requests.
