Requirements

  • Expertise in Workday Payroll solutions, including migration strategies, system configuration, and customization
  • Deep understanding of Federal HR regulations, OPM guidelines, and Federal security standards (e.g., FedRAMP IL2/IL4, Secret, Top Secret)
  • Ability to elicit and document detailed business requirements and translate them into Workday configurations
  • Experience analyzing and mapping current state configurations and business processes from legacy systems like Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft to Workday
  • Strong collaboration skills with Federal HR, Payroll, and IT partners
  • Thrive in highly regulated environments with paramount attention to detail and regulatory compliance
  • Proactive, highly motivated mindset as a trusted advisor

Responsibilities

  • Lead the functional design and architecture of Workday solutions for Federal customers, reporting to the VP of Product & Compliance
  • Elicit and document detailed business requirements and translate them into effective Workday configurations
  • Analyze and map current state configurations and business processes from systems like Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft to Workday
  • Collaborate with Federal HR, Payroll, and IT partners to ensure shared understanding and alignment on Workday design principles, Federal HR regulations, and OPM guidelines
  • Develop comprehensive plans and documentation for data migration, including data cleansing, transformation rules, and validation strategies
  • Design and implement rigorous pre-flight test scenarios to guarantee accuracy of migrated data and Workday system functionality in alignment with Federal standards
