Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Fumigation license or state fumigation certificate/license pursuant to country or state/local laws, or ability to obtain one
18 years of age or older
Current and valid Driver's License
Ability to obtain a TWIC card to access secure facilities
Ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat endorsement
Two years of work or military experience
Ability to understand labels and SDS forms for hazardous chemicals
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
Ability to understand and interpret English labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicals
Anticipate 50% or more overnight travel for business during peak season
Ability to work overnight shifts as needed
Willingness to be on-call during off work hours and weekends as necessary
Physical ability to wear and use a respirator or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
Physical ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 70 pounds chest high
Physical ability to work in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp and/or dusty locations
Responsibilities
Assist with the complete fumigation process, including but not limited to sealing, tarping, introduction of fumigant, conducting fume readings, and aerating/de-gassing facilities
Use handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document structural, sanitation and pest issues, and gas monitoring equipment to conduct readings during fumigations
Read, understand, follow labels, and MSDS forms for hazardous chemicals used during services provided
Effectively communicate with customers as needed
Inspect, maintain, and utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) properly
Follow proper safety protocols including OSHA mandated and customer specified guidelines
Use equipment involved in fumigation management services, including electronic devices for recording and reporting data
