Requirements

  • Strong product knowledge of Lush products and brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging)
  • Ability to utilize StoreForce dashboard for analyzing sales results and providing coaching/feedback
  • Skills in effective sales techniques, customer consultations, and product demonstrations
  • Leadership and team development abilities, including training, coaching, and fostering a positive culture
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), with open communication and valuing unique contributions
  • Operational skills in cash handling, register management, deposits, store opening/closing, and securing the store
  • Punctuality, attendance reliability, and ability to monitor team time/attendance/breaks
  • Merchandising and visual maintenance skills to keep store clean, organized, and appealing
  • Availability for 30-39 hours weekly, full-time role

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales using StoreForce dashboard: coach sales team, adjust shop floor structure, own results, grow segment contributions, celebrate achievements
  • Deliver world-class customer experience: lead by example with product demonstrations, observe consultations, collaborate to exceed sales goals, build loyal customer base
  • Build the brand: educate customers on Lush values, engage community, host store parties, drive traffic
  • Demonstrate product passion: continuously learn and make informed product recommendations
  • Train and coach Sales Ambassadors/peers on sales techniques and product knowledge to improve performance and sales; lead by example, seek feedback for self-development
  • Promote DEIB: encourage open communication, listen to perspectives, foster belonging through teamwork, collaboration, and recognition
  • Manage cash handling: handle transactions, open/close register, reconcile drawers, prepare deposits, secure store, take deposits to bank as required
  • Ensure time and attendance excellence: lead by example in punctuality/attendance, monitor breaks, review communications/task lists for team preparedness
  • Maintain visuals and merchandising: keep store clean, organized, and visually appealing
