Requirements

Industry standard knowledge of private insurance reimbursement standards in the Healthcare sector is necessary. Experience collecting for Home Health, Hospice or Home Care agencies is heavily preferred. Experience using EMR/EHR and practice management software is required, with Home Care Home Base experience highly desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential.

Responsibilities

Manage all collections activity for assigned payors. Work closely with Mission Healthcare staff to identify and correct problem areas affecting reimbursement. Stay abreast of industry standard changes and regulations relevant to reimbursement. Maintain frequent communication with the Reimbursement Manager. Address and resolve patient questions and concerns, providing respectful customer service. Meet defined department goals and activity metrics.
