Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, materials science, or chemistry. Prior experience in nuclear, oil & gas, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or defense, especially with nuclear facilities, materials, or the DOE/national laboratories, is considered a bonus.
The Fuel Special Projects Manager will lead and coordinate high-impact, cross-functional projects related to nuclear fuel facility development, permitting, and deployment. This includes managing strategic special projects in fuel facility permitting, deployment, and material sourcing, coordinating external collaborations with stakeholders, and working cross-functionally to align deliverables and schedules. The role involves proactively planning work, managing timelines, identifying and resolving issues, contributing to technical strategy and execution plans, and completing or matrixing tasks to achieve mission objectives.
