Requirements

Based in Colorado Springs (hybrid role)
1–3 years of experience in live event curation, production, promotions, or experiential work
Deep connections to the local creative scene and active role in building community around it
Comfortable assisting with (and independently handling when delegated) sponsorship outreach or marketing activations
Confident pitching ideas, event concepts, and partnership opportunities; able to represent Sofar professionally with artists, venues, and collaborators
Strong pulse on the local city/scene, with strong business sense, keen awareness of cultural trends, and ability to tap into local networks
Entrepreneurial, resourceful, driven, and able to thrive on challenges

Responsibilities

Strengthen Sofar’s brand locally by promoting and selling tickets through self-directed marketing tactics, aligned with city-wide strategy
Take ownership of assigned events – developing concepts, selecting neighborhoods, choosing themes, and executing from end to end
Lead curation and booking of high-quality, diverse artists and venues in assigned territory while growing local networks
Ensure strong event execution, hospitality, and consistency with Sofar standards; oversee staffing, logistics, and guest experience
Track financial performance of owned events to ensure sustainable, profitable growth
Build and nurture relationships with local businesses and partners for sponsorships, collaborations, or private event sales
Identify and cultivate relationships with aligned organizations, collectives, and community groups for co-promotional opportunities
Collaborate with Lead Producer and team to bring diverse, exciting experiences that generate buzz and amplify visibility
Support inbound partnership opportunities with seamless operations, strong communication, and high-quality curation
Maintain clear communication and alignment with Lead Producer on progress, needs, challenges, and opportunities
