Requirements

Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant experience in a Fraud, Risk Operations, or related role, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience. A strong understanding of Daily Fantasy Sports, Gaming, and/or payment processes in the DFS/gaming industry is required, along with exceptional analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. The role also requires investigative curiosity, the ability to interpret data and behaviors, and a full understanding of the company's mission and values. The ability to work a hybrid remote and in-office schedule, potentially including weekends, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Fraud Operations Analyst will protect game integrity by monitoring and analyzing suspicious player activity, taking action to mitigate losses, and reviewing user wallet transactions for potential fraud. They will utilize various tools and reports to detect fraud trends, measure and track them, and communicate findings to management. The analyst will stay updated on fraud trends, identify new prevention methods, and share insights across departments. Responsibilities include supporting management with ad hoc requests, collaborating with teams to optimize fraud processes and policies, ensuring compliance with AML, KYC, and gaming regulations, and partnering with Customer Support to develop protocols for handling fraud-related issues. The role also involves working in cross-functional teams to design and manage fraud prevention and risk mitigation systems.
