The Software Engineer, Fraud will design and develop systems to mitigate systemic risks and safeguard the Whatnot community. They will balance risk and user experience by monitoring the impact of protective systems. The role involves architecting event-driven pipelines for near real-time responses to high-risk behavior and continuously evolving defenses against emerging abuse patterns. This includes contributing to the ideation, scoping, prototyping, load testing, deployment, and monitoring of resilient and scalable solutions.
