Minimum 2 years of food service management experience

Responsibilities
Effectively direct and supervise all activities of the deli/food service department and its personnel
Meet department goals and objectives related to merchandising, sales, and customer service
Communicate directly with store management and department supervisors
Select, onboard, and coach new team members
Create and manage team member schedules
Greet customers with smiles and greetings
Offer product information and selling suggestions
Conduct active sampling
Express genuine gratitude to customers
Take customer orders and ensure timely and satisfactory completion
Ensure department personnel adhere to all food safety and sanitation policies
Order necessary products and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
Display deli/food service items according to established guidelines
Follow product recipes precisely
Rotate deli/food service items to maintain quality, safety, and minimize shrink
Receive merchandise, audit invoices, break down orders, and position products
Periodically count product for inventory purposes
Oversee the preparation and serving/merchandising of deli/food service items (breakfast, lunch, dinner, fried foods, pizzas, salads, soups, sandwiches, roller grill items, beverages, and snacks)
