Direct department personnel, meeting departmental goals and objectives
Communicate directly with store management and department supervisors
Selecting, onboarding, and coaching all new team members
Scheduling all team members
Offer product information, provide selling suggestions, and conduct active sampling, always expressing gratitude
Take guest orders, ensuring timely and satisfactory order completion
Ensure department personnel adhere to all county, city, and company food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies
Order products and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels and merchandising standards
Oversee the preparation and serving/merchandising of deli/food service items, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees, fried foods, pizzas, prepared salads, soups, sandwiches, roller grill items, hot and cold beverages, and snack items
