Responsibilities

  • Direct department personnel, meeting departmental goals and objectives
  • Communicate directly with store management and department supervisors
  • Selecting, onboarding, and coaching all new team members
  • Scheduling all team members
  • Offer product information, provide selling suggestions, and conduct active sampling, always expressing gratitude
  • Take guest orders, ensuring timely and satisfactory order completion
  • Ensure department personnel adhere to all county, city, and company food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies
  • Order products and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels and merchandising standards
  • Oversee the preparation and serving/merchandising of deli/food service items, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees, fried foods, pizzas, prepared salads, soups, sandwiches, roller grill items, hot and cold beverages, and snack items
  • Maintaining department’s goals and objectives
