Serv-Safe certification (preferred)
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and/or evening shifts
Ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members
Engage with customers through smiles, greetings, offering product information, providing selling suggestions, and active sampling
Provide fast and friendly customer service
Process cash register transactions, give back change, and handle refunds
Use scale printer machines to ensure accurate weights and pricing
Monitor product pricing, signage, and placement, utilizing shelf tags and signage
Keep a clean, neat, and orderly check stand/sales counter and work production areas
Prepare, wrap, box, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products, rotating them for quality and safety
Prepare and cook deli/foodservice items (fried foods, salads, sandwiches, roller grill items, hot and cold beverages, prepared meals, and snack items)
Work safely around slicers, tools, and hot equipment
Display products following deli department and merchandising guidelines
Take customer orders and ensure timely and satisfactory completion
Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
