High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and/or evening shifts
Ability to assist other locations as needed

Responsibilities

Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members
Engaging with customers through smiles and greetings, offering product information, providing selling suggestions, and active sampling
Processing cash register transactions, giving back change, and refunds
Using scale printer machines to ensure accurate weights and pricing
Monitoring product pricing, signage, and placement, utilizing shelf tags and signage
Keeping a clean, neat, and orderly check stand/sales counter and work production areas
Preparing, wrapping, boxing, weighing, slicing, and stocking deli/food service products, rotating them for quality and safety
Preparing and cooking deli/foodservice items (fried foods, salads, sandwiches, roller grill items, hot and cold beverages, prepared meals, and snack items)
Working safely around slicers, tools, and hot equipment
Displaying products according to deli department and merchandising guidelines
Taking customer orders and ensuring timely and satisfactory completion
Performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
