Flexibility: available for training period, pre-shift meetings, weekends, and overtime when needed
Physical demands: ability to move, twist, or lift up to 60 lbs and team lift 75 lbs; specific vision abilities (close, distance, peripheral, adjust focus); stand on feet for 12+ hours; keep up with fast, repetitious pace and repetitious lifting
Capability to multi-task, prioritize, and react to direction from quality assurance and management
Tolerance for exposure to allergens, chemicals, extreme equipment, and temperatures

Responsibilities

Run, change over, ensure efficiency and quality of 3-5 packaging machines
Communicate changes and plans to team members in immediate area and supervision
Perform required computer tasks at specific times throughout the shift
Set up and operate packaging equipment
Run high-speed automated equipment
Follow precise recipes and work procedures
Monitor and adjust variables
Perform product quality tests and data collection
Use hand tools
