Requirements

  • Proficiency in utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction to introduce and lead change efforts

  • Experience in driving financial performance: reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, operational processes, mitigating shrink
  • Capability to provide supervision and development: hiring, training, mentoring associates, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, promoting belonging mindset, recruiting for staffing needs
  • Ability to coordinate job-related activities: developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans/initiatives, identifying goals/objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, addressing improvements, demonstrating adaptability, promoting continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, communicating store operations, utilizing technology, leading change efforts, setting expectations, implementing business solutions
  • Model exceptional customer service, manage/support initiatives (e.g., community programs), resolve customer issues, develop action plans for deficiencies, provide process improvement leadership
  • Drive financial performance and sales in designated store area: review P&L, manage budgeting/forecasting/expenses, ensure merchandise presentation/inventory/operations, implement action plans for shrink/sales/profit goals
  • Supervise and develop hourly associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, provide recognition, promote belonging, recruit to meet staffing needs
  • Coordinate/ complete/ oversee job-related activities: maintain stakeholder relationships, support customer/business plans, communicate goals, build accountability, measure progress, identify improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics via action plans, utilize Open Door Policy, provide guidance on business processes
  • Build high-performing teams, embrace diversity, foster belonging, create thriving opportunities
  • Work collaboratively, build relationships, communicate positively to motivate/influence
