Requirements

  • Must live in the greater Toronto or Montreal area
  • Bachelor’s degree in Scientific field with 5+ years’ experience OR Master’s degree in a scientific field with 1+ years’ experience
  • Must have practical experience and knowledge of flow cytometry equipment
  • Highly motivated and success driven
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time and territory management habits
  • Ability to travel – 70% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirements

Responsibilities

  • Implementing a sales plan designed to achieve established sales and financial goals
  • Calling on prospective and current company customers
  • Involving technical personnel to resolve customer’s issues and problems as needed
  • Participating in the establishment of sales targets and design of the territory's sales plan
  • Controlling sales expenses
  • Selling cytometry hardware to quotas assigned
  • Selling consumables to quotas assigned
  • Management of assigned territory accounts
  • Searching out new and competitive business and working with accounts to develop programs to expand and increase our influence and presence
