Requirements

  • 1.5+ years of floral experience as a florist with a focus on executing floral designs
  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • Availability to work up to 24 hours per week including early mornings, evenings, and weekends (3-4 shifts per week)
  • Work during the Vacation Blackout Policy dates
  • Knowledgeable and able to work with live floral product
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and to climb a ladder up to 8 ft

Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers, answering questions, locating merchandise, and recommending product to ensure the entire customer experience is pleasant, engaging, and efficient
  • Knowledgeable in and confident speaking to the brand, brand history, product, and cross-channel offerings
  • Prepare and assemble floral arrangements and bouquets following the design specifications from Bouqs by using your skills in handling various flowers, foliage, and plants to create high-quality products
  • Inspect all floral elements to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with Bouqs standards to ensure consistency in bouquet appearance and overall presentation
  • Maintaining store visual standards throughout business hours by ensuring products are displayed neatly according to visual guidelines
  • Facilitate sales and client capture in the POS system, as well as cross-channel sales including bridal and events
  • Manage daily inventory including receiving live shipment and processing out product, as needed
  • Participate in scheduled inventory tasks, including store wide physical inventory counts
  • Communicate internal and client feedback upwards to corporate management to drive the overall success of the retail organization
  • Assist with off-site events, when needed
