Requirements

  • CPA/CA or Equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5+ years in a finance, tax, or compliance role
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks (IFRS/AASB/GAAP) recommended
  • Strong technical tax and accounting knowledge
  • Expertise in automation and process optimisation
  • Ability to manage complex regulatory environments across Australia, United States, New Zealand, Singapore, and the UK
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal, cross-brand, and external parties
  • Problem solver, self-starter, optimist who loves collaborating and figuring things out

Responsibilities

  • Support timely and accurate preparation and lodgement of BAS, GST/VAT, PAYG I & PAYG W, Royalties, FBT Returns, Australia, New Zealand and United States Tax and Financial documentation (IFRS, AASB, GAAP), Employee Share Scheme reporting to ATO, Payroll Tax obligations across all Australian states, WorkCover, Payment Times Reporting Scheme
  • Maintain a compliance calendar capturing all regulatory and statutory deadlines globally
  • Manage monitoring tools that track reconciliations, approvals, audit trails, and exception reporting (Floqast)
  • Ensure arms-length pricing and compliance with transfer pricing documentation requirements for interbrand transactions & transfer pricing
  • Be the key point of contact for external audit requests and manage internal teams workflows to meet expected deadlines
  • Develop and maintain standardisation of finance and tax compliance policies across all brands (Group-Wide Policy Harmonisation)
  • Facilitate cross-brand knowledge sharing and identify process optimisation opportunities (Continuous Improvement)
  • Stay up to date with global changes that could impact the business through subscription services, readings or webinars
