Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master of Commerce (MCom), Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), Master of Business Administration in Finance (MBA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is required, along with domain expertise in core finance/FP&A. Proficiency in understanding P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements is essential, as is a good knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles. Experience in developing financial reports and metrics, along with the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, is necessary. Familiarity with Power BI and SAP HANA/SAP is also required.

Responsibilities

The Financial Plan & Analysis Analyst will be responsible for driving financial operational performance, managing the forecasting and budgeting process, and analyzing headcount and staff costs. They will track the monthly impact of cost-out initiatives and review forecasts. The role involves delivering timely analysis of results to business owners and senior management, reviewing monthly performance against forecast/budget, investigating variances, and resolving issues. This includes providing support for monthly and quarterly business reviews and preparing full-year forecasts, including operational expenditure (Opex), drivers, assumptions, and gap-close initiatives. The analyst will also provide commercial support to general managers, identify and obtain necessary data for business cases, and communicate financial information clearly to non-financial managers.
