Responsibilities

  • Prepare Budget vs Actuals (BVA) reports for the executive leadership team and budget owners across the company each month, which include working in Adaptive and Office Connect.
  • Coordinate with Accounting on month-end close processes, which may include comments on general ledger expense type, department and function, and approver of each expense.
  • Review large amounts of raw data, organize the data in a way that is digestible for the FP&A team or other leaders across the company, and present findings.
  • Communicate monthly and on an ongoing basis with budget owners and the FP&A team, and be comfortable speaking with and interacting with senior leaders across the company.
  • Keep data in Adaptive financial planning up to date for coverage areas, including but not limited to existing headshots, new hire headcount, vendor expenses, contract labor, and CapEx.
  • Assist in refining our Workday Adaptive financial planning and analysis tool.
  • Work in tandem with Procurement processes for vendor requests, budget owner approval, and finance approval, all while balancing a budget for several departments.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse group of peer Financial Analysts and Senior Financial Analysts to drive business initiatives and team priorities.
  • Recommend process improvement and policy enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to learn and grow a career at the second largest and fastest growing social good software company in the world.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of related work experience; SaaS experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance terms and concepts, as well as accounting principles, required.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, proactive results-oriented work ethic, and adaptable to change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous communication to internal stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
  • Experience with Adaptive or another comparable planning tool.
  • Experience with Intacct or another comparable accounting system.

Compensation

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

  • US Base Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. In addition to benefits, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
