About You

Nutrafol is seeking an inquisitive, data-driven, and entrepreneurial Finance Associate - FP&A. This role is responsible for analyzing and leveraging data to support strategic and financial decision-making within a dynamic and fluid organization. As a key member of the finance team, you will enhance Nutrafol’s operating model, analyze capital allocation decisions, and provide ongoing guidance to the executive team. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain in-depth business operating experience by collaborating with teams across the organization on various challenges and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analytical roles involving budgeting/planning, financial modeling, and decision analytics (e.g., corporate finance, investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, private equity).
  • Industry Experience: Experience working within a high-growth eCommerce/CPG company (inventory-based business). Start-up or recurring revenue-based business experience is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in managing large data sets, building, and maintaining complex models.
    • Ability to create three-statement financial models.
    • Knowledge of QuickBooks or MS Dynamics is required.
    • Hands-on experience solving complex problems with large datasets.
  • Analytics Tools: Experience with Tableau (or other analytics platforms such as Looker, Mode, etc.) and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Collaboration: Experience working closely with executives and leading cross-team initiatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own, maintain, and enhance company financial and operating models, adapting and improving them based on changing business needs and providing insights.
  • Support annual budget and ongoing forecasting processes.
  • Provide monthly financial variance analysis and conduct budget/operational review meetings with department heads.
  • Offer strategic guidance through analytics initiatives, including business/economic/financial modeling and analysis using multiple data sources.
  • Collaborate closely with department leads to provide analytical support, assist with optimizing resource allocation, and proactively identify operational improvements.
  • Utilize Tableau and QuickBooks to mine and analyze data, providing leadership with learnings and recommendations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 USD
    • Note: Nutrafol considers a wide range of factors for final compensation, including skill sets, experience, qualifications, education, and business needs. The listed range is for annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or potential bonus eligibility.
