  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/S4 preferred) and financial applications
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools (e.g., SIPOC, value stream mapping)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Critical thinking and logical decision-making
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Intermediate understanding of financial systems and processes in several areas
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing financial systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and Pareto analysis to prioritize improvement areas
  • Design and implement reengineered processes leveraging automation and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes into SAP/S4 or other ERP platforms
  • Support implementation of financial technology projects, including RPA and AI-driven solutions
  • Manage the implementation of a system solution from beginning to end for a customer and create a plan for testing new systems
  • Troubleshoot current applications and solve minor issues independently
  • Lead and/or provide expertise to functional project teams and participate in cross-functional initiatives
  • Interact with internal customers, examining moderately complex issues or concerns to find a solution
  • Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to identify the business potential of a given project
  • Solve moderately complex, multiple systems problems
  • Develop risk mitigation and fallback strategies
  • Generate ideas for projects
  • Ensure redesigned processes meet internal policies, SOX compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain documentation of workflows, approvals, and control points
  • Partner with Finance leadership, deployment leads, and optimization analysts to align process changes with strategic goals
  • Communicate process changes effectively across teams and provide training where necessary
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track the effectiveness of reengineered processes
  • Continuously monitor and refine processes for efficiency and accuracy
