Requirements

  • Qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce, preferably at MQF Level 6
  • Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in MS Excel, with a willingness to learn accounting software
  • A cooperative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Well-organised with effective time-management skills, able to follow instructions and ensure timely delivery to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities, including general ledger management, posting journal entries, updating and recording accruals and prepayments
  • Perform various reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Assist the finance team with revenue recognition and expense bookings
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Help prepare financial reports, along with other Group reporting tasks
  • Assist in the compilation of cash flow forecasts and budgets
  • Support regulatory filings and other compliance tasks
  • Assist in internal and external audit processes
  • Support the implementation of new financial systems and process improvements
  • Participate in ad hoc finance tasks and assist with ongoing finance projects as needed
