No degree is required, but preferred expertise includes Network Engineering, IT, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Candidates should have a growth mindset and a desire to learn with a results-oriented focus. Proven experience and proficiency in network equipment configuration, harnessing assembly and installation, and interpreting design specifications, datasheets, and technical drawings are essential. Familiarity with Linux and command line interface, as well as proficiency in using modern tools for productivity, is required. Strong knowledge of networks, electrical, and harnessing systems, along with experience using testing tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, is also needed.
Field Technicians will travel to unique parts of the country and work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, highly iterative engineering culture. They will configure network equipment, flash circuit boards, and configure Linux machines by running bash scripts in both R&D and field settings. The role involves traveling 50-70% of the time for equipment installations and servicing, writing python and bash scripts to automate configuration processes, and collaborating with Electrical, Embedded, and Software Engineers during design stages. Additionally, they will prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, contribute to technical reports and presentations for stakeholders, and support prototype development while performing hands-on testing to validate designs.
