  • 3+ years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in the medical industry
  • Understanding of medical equipment maintenance, inspection, and repair operations
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical and medical device regulations (yakkiho, related laws), repair business, and QMS
  • Ability to read English manuals
  • Project management skills
  • Experience working with overseas counterparts
  • Accurate communication skills (Japanese and English)

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Field Service & Repair operations for new mechanical large capital equipment
  • Provide installation pre-checks, installation, periodic inspections, repairs, software upgrades, and technical inquiry responses for medical large equipment
  • Support service preparation for new market introductions
  • Manage service operations (installation information management, complaint management, maintenance parts management, measuring instrument management, etc.)
  • Support sales demos, customer training, and maintenance of demo units
  • Collaborate with related departments
  • Promote sales of maintenance service contracts
  • Communicate with overseas manufacturers and participate in overseas training
  • Comply with laws and regulations (pharmaceutical and medical device law, related regulations, repair business, QMS-related)
