Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, IT Engineering or similar field, or High specialization technical Diploma with relevant experience in the field and with customers
  • 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment such as Cyclotrons and synthesizer modules
  • Comprehensive knowledge of a specific modality (Radiopharmacy preferred) or multi-modalities, extensive knowledge and experience of specific machineries
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly
  • Expert in interacting with the Customer, drive positive relationships, ensure satisfaction
  • Based in Milan, Bologna as preference or able to relocate
  • Available to travel (90%) Italy, EU and extra-EU
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different working conditions and schedule changes
  • Fluent in Italian and English

  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process

Responsibilities

  • Total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated equipment
  • Interface with doctors and technicians on equipment status issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction
  • Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner
  • Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure they are calibrated
  • Identify Sales opportunities and communicate to account team in geographic area
  • Work as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost-effective service to the assigned area
  • Responsibly completes all administration tasks on time
  • Ensures timely completion of assigned FMIs and PMs
  • Assist less experienced Junior Field Services Engineers on advanced and complex troubleshooting and technical fixes
  • Cooperate with internal stakeholders and interlocutors
  • Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement
  • Comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report immediately customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization
