Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on lift stations and their assets (generators/auxiliary pumps), including inspections
Service the vacuum station (a collection system that relies on vacuum suction to transport sewage)
Fix and repair leaks to water, reclaim, and force mains as they arise
Install and change out water and reuse meters
Perform meter reads
Work with utility billing and customer service relations (e.g., handle work orders for turn on/offs for accounts)
Flush hydrants, perform maintenance, exercise valves, and conduct pressure tests of fire hydrants
Service backflows (if licensed)
Work with GIS for locates
Operate various heavy and light equipment including backhoes, crane truck, vac trucks, etc
Operate and maintain wastewater collection and water distribution systems, including remote pump station equipment, valves, piping, lift stations, and water meters
