This is a part-time, on-call Field Service Technician role with approximately 20-25 hours per week.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing devices, hardware parts replacement, software updates, preventative maintenance, assisting with installations, conducting system checks, and maintaining parts and tools.
Intermediate troubleshooting abilities in electronics, mechanics, and electromechanical systems are required, along with strong communication skills. Preferred experience includes military technician, computer technician, automation in healthcare, A+ certification, or backgrounds in healthcare, field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, customer service, pharmacy technician, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT.
The position offers a flexible schedule as a per-diem, on-call role including nights and weekends, with local travel up to 2-3 hours and response within service level agreements of 4-24 hours.
Candidates with intermediate troubleshooting skills in electronics, mechanics, and electromechanical systems, relevant technical experience in healthcare or field service, A+ certification, strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 70 lbs, and clearance for hospital vendor credentialing will stand out.
