Minimum of 2 years of electromechanical technician experience
Proficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficient with PCs, current operating systems, and relevant software applications
Responsibilities
Perform high quality preventative and emergency maintenance services on Entrust equipment, including testing, diagnosing, and resolving issues on systems such as mechanical embossers, thermal image application and laminating, magstripe and chip data writing, ultraviolet curing
Conduct day-to-day repairs such as cleaning rollers, sensors, cavities; calibrating sensors, data read/write devices, application pressure; evaluating/replacing parts for wear and misalignment (e.g., servo & stepper motors, spindles, clutches, belts, bearings); evaluating/replacing temperature/proximity/position sensors; software adjustments for temperature, hardware positioning
Utilize repair and service manuals, test equipment (e.g., voltmeter, laptop), and hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches) to troubleshoot card printer systems
Maintain accurate and proper trunk inventory levels
Follow established processes for service activity reporting and call management; accept, organize, and respond to service calls utilizing a dispatch system
Interact with customer operations staff; be consistently reliable and timely; display a positive attitude; demonstrate customer relation skills for independent resolution of most situations; adjust to customer culture while maintaining Entrust values
Participate in company sponsored personal development and quality initiatives; complete all company training and development courses; develop competency in required applications; assist less experienced personnel; commit to continuous improvement by sharing ideas, problem resolution successes, and suggestions on process improvement
