  • Troubleshooting: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and other diagnostic tools
  • Equipment Maintenance: Skills in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Software Maintenance: Competence in performing scheduled software maintenance and upgrades
  • Customer Service Skills: Customer Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Ability to take initiative in group and independent situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with teammates and Evolv’s CX organization
  • Ability to independently resolve break-fix events
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks such as expenses, work orders, and RMAs
  • Thorough understanding of the Express system and software
  • Ability to lead special event support activities and assist in on-the-job training of new personnel and third-party service providers

Responsibilities

  • Begin Evolv technical training on products, tools, equipment, and software
  • Support and learn assigned area and local customers
  • Attend orientation sessions to learn company values, policies, culture, and meet team members
  • Shadow experienced field service engineers to observe work and learn tasks
  • Build relationships with customers, assess needs, and answer questions or concerns
  • Perform basic field service tasks such as maintaining and repairing equipment, and documenting work in service reports
  • Attend team meetings to discuss projects, share best practices, and receive feedback
  • Learn and use company internal processes and systems like inventory management, invoicing, and scheduling
  • Independently resolve break-fix events
  • Perform repairs on Express units
  • Lead 2-4 special event support activities at strategic locations such as sports stadiums and large venues
  • Assist in on-the-job training of new personnel and third-party service providers
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, provide world-class support, and perform proactive maintenance on security systems
