Requirements

Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering
2-3 years of experience in assembly, installation, maintenance, and servicing of machinery and equipment
Graduation from technical college (kosen), vocational school, or university
Basic English reading and writing skills (for manuals) - desirable
Valid ordinary car driver's license (required)
Willingness to travel (average 2-3 days per week with overnight stays possible, depending on area)

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, disassemble, reassemble, test, calibrate, and fix malfunctions on equipment (flow cytometry and others) following company repair processes to ensure normal operation
Perform installation, repair (including paid services), qualification testing of life science instruments, customer management, and sell maintenance contracts to contribute to departmental growth
Report necessary information for product quality improvements to equipment or quality responsible persons
Provide on-site services, repairs, and installations for company products
Offer technical support to customers on system operation and maintenance
Contact customers and provide services for technical support and problem-solving
Diagnose system failures and determine the most cost-effective solutions
Escalate complex issues to higher levels of technical support or quality reporting systems
Comply with the company's vehicle safety program requirements due to frequent travel by company car
