Requirements

  • Electronics bachelor or technician degree (cool temperature technician experience valued)
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, including cleanroom protocols (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair)
  • Ability to work in environmental conditions such as Cold Room/Freezers (-22°F/-6°C), laboratory settings
  • Willingness to wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment repairs within optimum timeframe during customer visits, installations, preventive maintenance, and new equipment setups
  • Propose ULS maintenance contracts and other ULS products/services during customer interactions
  • Respond immediately to customer requests by phone, in writing, or in person
  • Strive for same-day diagnostics; if unclear, acquire necessary information from customer and consider all remarks
  • Follow up on quotes
  • Complete repairs in the shortest possible time
  • Submit reports to direct manager, technical manager, product manager, or manufacturer when necessary
  • Generate service reports with all key information for every job
  • Notify immediate supervisor of any repeated or specific issues
  • Handle all emergencies the same day via email or phone and reschedule any late or postponed visits immediately
