The Field Service Engineer will provide sophisticated services for laboratory equipment, including repair, installation, and maintenance of temperature monitoring systems, incubators, centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, and cryogenic storage. Responsibilities include working directly with customers to schedule visits, address concerns, and resolve problems. Additionally, the engineer must complete learning assignments, read procedures, submit expense reports, and maintain spare part inventory. The role involves daily commuting to customer sites using a company vehicle, with approximately 10% overnight travel required for customer service and training.
