Responsibilities

Perform all service activities related to life extension, repair, and inspection of installed machine fleets at customer sites
Supervise construction and commissioning of new and existing equipment at customer sites
Conduct on-site activities including machining, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), blade alignment, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics
Make engineering decisions
Expand knowledge in technical discipline to execute policies/strategies
Understand key business drivers and how own team's work contributes to the business area
Exercise some autonomy in decision-making within defined frameworks
Resolve issues encountered in prescribed procedures using good technical knowledge and judgment; consult senior team members for issues outside defined instructions/parameters
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills; may lead junior teams
For customer-facing roles: build strong customer relationships, act as interface between customer and GE HealthCare, and present technical information to others
