Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or BSN, be a Registered Nurse with a current, good nursing license in their state of residency (preferably a compact multi-state license), and have at least 5 years of clinical experience in healthcare, including experience in hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings. Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.
The Field Neuroscience Nurse Educator will coordinate and facilitate connections between patients and program-approved resources, provide direct educational training to patients on specific disease states and assigned medications, support multiple disease states and medications as needed, and foster appropriate dialogue between patients and their healthcare providers. They will also participate in one-on-one communications with patients via various platforms, including in-person, telephone, video, email, and SMS, strictly adhering to program guidelines, and not provide medical advice. Additionally, the Nurse Educator will promote behavioral change through patient-focused education to improve treatment compliance.
