Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biomedicine, or related field
  • Multiple years of work or academic experience in laboratory environments working with anatomical pathology or cell biology
  • Advanced English proficiency (required for international trainings and global team interactions)
  • Experience with technical support or training for laboratory equipment
  • Experience with workflow optimization or process improvement in anatomical pathology laboratories
  • Availability for travel 70-80% of the time, overnight, throughout Brazil
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must have a valid passport and USA visa for international trainings

Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on training and ensure proper usage and compliance for Leica Biosystems equipment and products
  • Support customers in the validation, implementation, and optimization of equipment and staining protocols in anatomical pathology laboratories
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, investigating root causes and providing effective solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including Sales, Field Service Engineers, Marketing, Regulatory/Quality Affairs, and Contracts/Tenders—to provide technical expertise and support business objectives
  • Lead workflow optimization projects and travel extensively across Brazil to analyze laboratory processes, recommend improvements, and adapt to dynamic client environments
