Requirements

  • Master’s degree, PhD (or equivalent) in analytical chemistry, molecular biology or life sciences
  • Experience of working within Bio-Technical / Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical/ Biological, Medicine, Chemical and/or bio-pharmaceutical industries
  • Field and / or hotline experience in customer support before and / or after sales
  • Knowledge of analytical equipment in the field of in vitro diagnostics or in a regulated environment
  • Strong collaborative approach, ability to work remotely / independently, excellent communication skills and ability to efficiently prioritize workload and emergencies
  • Fluent English (written & spoken) and ideally other European Languages (French would be a plus)
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of time, in the defined territory and in other areas as needed, which could include international trips
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and service support for instrumentation and reagents
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports
  • Application and field support (Troubleshooting, installing application, perform product validation, solving customer problems, follow up on customer needs/problems)
  • Carry out customer visits to resolve product and technical issues
  • Leading technical product specification & application discussions with clients & prospects
  • Providing effective training activities & workshops on applications and instrumentation
  • Supporting Sales activities in product troubleshooting & complaint handling / investigation activities including the provision of data and feedback to Sales Support
  • Leading on all aspects of qualification/validation studies & programs initiated with the clients in collaboration with internal functional groups, as may be applicable
