Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related technical field
12+ years of experience in product application engineering, embedded system design, and customer-facing technical support, preferably in RF, IoT, or embedded domains
Proficiency in writing and debugging embedded firmware in C/C++ on microcontrollers (MCUs) and application processors
Experience with interpreted languages such as Python or JavaScript for automation, scripting, and lab tools
Solid understanding of RF communications fundamentals (link budgets, antennas, propagation, power management)
Hands-on experience with embedded debug equipment (oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers) and RF test equipment (power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to secure design wins and drive adoption with customers and partners
Support and enable customers and partners in prototyping and productizing embedded and system-level applications, including performance optimization, calibration, functional test, and regional certification
Analyze, debug, and optimize Reader IC applications in lab and prototype environments by applying core electrical and RF engineering principles
Conduct hands-on lab work, including hardware/software bring-up, debugging, performance measurements, data analysis, and validation of new features and fixes
Create software, scripts, and prototypes to demonstrate product capabilities, and maintain clear, high quality technical documentation
Act as a technical expert on embedded firmware/software, Reader ICs, and system-level applications, providing design guidance and implementation support
Deliver training and enablement for customers, partners, and internal technical staff on product features, capabilities, and best practices
Represent the voice of customer (VoC) to Product Management and Engineering, sharing field insights to influence product features, tools, and collateral
Champion the technology at industry events and partner engagements through demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations
