Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 12+ years of experience in product application engineering, embedded system design, and customer-facing technical support, preferably in RF, IoT, or embedded domains
  • Proficiency in writing and debugging embedded firmware in C/C++ on microcontrollers (MCUs) and application processors
  • Experience with interpreted languages such as Python or JavaScript for automation, scripting, and lab tools
  • Solid understanding of RF communications fundamentals (link budgets, antennas, propagation, power management)
  • Hands-on experience with embedded debug equipment (oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers) and RF test equipment (power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to secure design wins and drive adoption with customers and partners
  • Support and enable customers and partners in prototyping and productizing embedded and system-level applications, including performance optimization, calibration, functional test, and regional certification
  • Analyze, debug, and optimize Reader IC applications in lab and prototype environments by applying core electrical and RF engineering principles
  • Conduct hands-on lab work, including hardware/software bring-up, debugging, performance measurements, data analysis, and validation of new features and fixes
  • Create software, scripts, and prototypes to demonstrate product capabilities, and maintain clear, high quality technical documentation
  • Act as a technical expert on embedded firmware/software, Reader ICs, and system-level applications, providing design guidance and implementation support
  • Deliver training and enablement for customers, partners, and internal technical staff on product features, capabilities, and best practices
  • Represent the voice of customer (VoC) to Product Management and Engineering, sharing field insights to influence product features, tools, and collateral
  • Champion the technology at industry events and partner engagements through demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations
