Current FDLE General Instructor Certification (Required)
Speed Measurement Instructor Certification (Required)
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
FDLE Instructor Exemptions (may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Responsibilities

Teach any of the specified FDOT Tuition Free Courses (Basic Traffic Homicide Investigation, Advanced Traffic Homicide Investigation, Traffic Homicide Reconstruction, Crash Scene Mapping with Speed Lasers, Speed Measurement Course, Speed Measurement Instructor Course, and possibly Breath Test Operator Course)
Demonstrate knowledge of State of Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training rules and regulations
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
Exhibit sound judgement, problem-solving skills, and positive motivational skills
