Responsibilities

  • Answer and triage incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications regarding maintenance issues from staff across hospital and clinic sites
  • Provide clear instructions to staff on reporting processes and escalation procedures
  • Document requests accurately and completely in the software system
  • Evaluate reported issues to determine priority and appropriate response level
  • Assign maintenance work orders to the appropriate technicians or service teams
  • Monitor work order status and follow up to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction
  • Learn and operate multiple systems critical to hospital operations (e.g., CMMS, building control systems, pneumatic tube systems)
  • Observe system dashboards and alerts, reporting anomalies or failures to technical staff
  • Assist in generating reports for performance metrics, system utilization, and compliance
  • Support standard operating procedures and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability
  • Provide new-hire refresher training to Facility users
  • Create and maintain access rights for Facility Service staff if appropriate technology solutions
