Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED, along with the ability to understand general arithmetic, write in an understandable manner, and follow verbal or written instructions. They should also be able to read and understand instructions, lists, and billing materials, and have experience using PC-based applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Office, and other specialized software. Normal attention with periods of high concentration is required, particularly when operating machinery approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

The Facilities Technician I will primarily assist with and self-driven maintenance of company facilities, working primarily on a 1st shift basis but being flexible to work other shifts or weekends as needed. This role involves maintaining and repairing infrastructure and the environment, including mechanical adjustments, electrical testing and upkeep, regular cleaning, and repairs, as well as installing bollards, repairing concrete and gravel lots, performing painting, sealing, and minor roof repairs. The technician will also operate a street sweeper to clean grounds, replace HVAC filters, inspect fire protection systems, light pilots, and turn on thermostats. They will troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment, perform preventative maintenance on facilities equipment, observe all safety regulations, maintain cleanliness and order, operate boom lifts and skid steers, occasionally drive company vehicles, and perform duties in office spaces, including installing lighting and electrical wiring.
