Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or Hospitality, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, maintenance, or a related industry. Strong communication skills are required, demonstrating the ability to effectively interact with various staffing levels.

Responsibilities

The Facilities Specialist will assist with overseeing third-party vendors in the areas of Cleaning, Facilities, and Security, monitoring operational expense and performance, and supporting the Manager with day-to-day management in each building. This role involves acting as a liaison between the Community team and the building’s Property Management team, proactively addressing operational standards, safety, communication, and cost management, and prioritizing daily facility issues while effectively delegating responsibilities. The Specialist will also oversee Preventative Maintenance Programs, solve escalated maintenance requests, manage the procure-to-pay cycle within Workday for Operations vendors, support vendor performance monitoring and reporting, assist with bulk procurement practices, and advise Community teams on accurate stock levels.
