Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance management in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with Indiana state environmental and safety regulations (IDEM, OSHA)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facility equipment and systems
  • Ensure compliance with Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) regulations and OSHA standards
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing operations
  • Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems maintenance
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage facility improvement projects and capital expenditures
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets and inventory of spare parts
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team
