Responsibilities

  • Develop commercial relationships with clients in the assigned zone (including prospecting), understand client needs, and promote MBDA product portfolio aligned with zone strategy
  • Negotiate significant export deals or acquisition add-ons to achieve order intake objectives
  • Deploy negotiation and commercial implantation strategies defined by the Zone Director
  • Maintain and develop client relationships for contract sustainability and emerge new needs from prospects
  • Contribute to competitive intelligence on the assigned scope
  • As Win Team Leader: Identify market prices and competition; integrate offset/technology transfer constraints; propose technical and cost framing; establish and manage offer delivery timelines
  • Coordinate internal MBDA teams for commercial offer preparation until validation (involving TMO, IIC, Comops, Finance, Programme, Future Systems, Legal, Export Licenses)
  • Validate selling prices ensuring consistency with other deals and competition
  • Lead negotiations on significant offers/acquisitions with clients, piloting MBDA teams through phases to contract signature
  • Present and defend contracts to MBDA signatories respecting economic objectives, profitability, IP rights
  • Ensure contract implementation (signatures, bank guarantees, non-reexport certificates, advance payments) and hand over to operational entity
