Requirements

Candidates should possess Azure Cloud experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of cloud platforms, competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, and CI/CD tooling using Azure DevOps, experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform (with Azure CLI, ARM Templates and Puppet), experience with Kubernetes, preferably AKS, and experience with PowerShell for writing scripts.

Responsibilities

The Experienced Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on the Azure platform with a clear exit strategy, collaborating with development teams to integrate cloud services into software applications, optimizing resource utilization and implementing cost-saving measures, staying current with Azure services updates and industry best practices to recommend improvements, providing technical support and guidance to stakeholders, developing and maintaining documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, analysing existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements, developing IaC using cloud native tooling, developing and implementing automated policy driven data protection best practices, supporting cloud adoption of applications, designing, migrating, and operating on medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases, and application systems, and supporting cloud solutions from data loss.
