Requirements

Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in Pensacola, FL, with coverage throughout the designated territory and Region as needed
Expertise in technical procedures and products, particularly the complete Vessel Closure portfolio (small and large bore arterial, venous, and future releases)
Focus on Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff
Ability to meet with existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify clinical needs, goals, and constraints
Capability to develop relationships with hospital personnel, make new contacts, and identify key decision makers
Proficiency in providing clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
Skills in educating customers via presentations and demonstrations using various formats (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals)
Attendance at clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room
Ability to respond to customer needs and complaints with creative solutions or collaboration

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical procedure and product expert for case coverage in the hospital setting
Provide case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through throughout the territory and Region
Promote Vascular products through education, service, and training of customers in the hospital setting
Offer clinical education and sales support to achieve projected sales goals, increase sales revenues, and grow market share, with heavy focus on Vessel Closure
Meet with customers to discuss and demonstrate how Vascular products address their clinical needs and goals
Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers
Act as primary resource for clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
Educate customers on product merits, proper clinical usage, latest developments, therapies, technologies, and industry updates
Attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products
Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or coordinating with related personnel
