We provide geospatial insights for use cases such as site selection, geomarketing, route optimization, and network planning. With an exceptionally diverse team of 150 people spread across the US and Europe, CARTO is changing the way companies analyze location data.

We are looking for a high-energy, organized, hands-on, and proactive Events Marketing Manager to own our Global Events Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the events planning and delivery process for both owned and sponsored events globally (e.g., Google NEXT, Snowflake Summit, and regional events).
  • Lead the marketing efforts for organizing CARTO-hosted events, such as the Spatial Data Science Conference in London and New York, and Spatial Data Science Roadshows worldwide.
  • Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of these events.
  • Identify priority events in the data science, data engineering, cloud, software development, and analytics spaces to generate leads and raise brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to maximize pipeline generation from events, ensuring effective lead collection and follow-up using tools like Hubspot, Apollo, and Salesforce.
  • Work with Demand Generation to market our events presence through channels such as social media, email marketing, and outbound campaigns.

  • Experience working with teams in multiple locations and cultures.
  • Experience with marketing technology (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, Content Management Systems).
